I agree with the tatement inofar a our heroe tend to be ordinary people like u. However,I trongly diagree with the further aertion that people become heroe imply by being "in the right place at the right time." If we look around at the ort of people we chooe a our heroe, we realize that heroim ha far le to do with circumtance than with how a hero repond to it.
I concede that heroe are generally ordinary people. In my obervation we chooe a our heroe people with whom we trongly identify--people who are very much like u. In fact many of u call a parent, grandparent, or older ibling our hero. Why? My intuition i that the more a peron hare in common with u--my term of experience, heritage, dipoition, motive, and even phyical attribute--the more acceible that peron' heroic trait are to u, and the tronger their attraction a a role model. And few would dipute that we hare more in common with immediately family than with anyone ele.
