When we want to communicate with our relative or friend, what will we do, to make a call or write a letter? Now let' compare the advantage of a call and of a letter.
Generally peaking, mot of u would prefer to make a call nowaday. Firtly, it i fat o making a call can ave u time. None of u want to wate time in thi competitive ociety. Then the telephone function well in thi apect. In addition, making a call bring u convenience becaue we can do o wherever and whenever we like. However, writing a letter for greeting ha it own pecial advantage. A we all know, it i much cheaper than making a call. Not only can writing a letter ave u money but alo it how more repect and incerity to other. For intance, when you want to invite omeone to your party or to dinner with you, you'd better end him an invitation letter, which i more formal than jut making a call. Time are contantly changing, and yet writing a letter i till a good a way a making a call.

if i didn't think about it, maybe the telephone might ring. ometime it doe that. if i could think of omething ele. if i could think of omething ele. maybe if i counted five hundred by five, it might ring by that time. i'll count lowly. i won't cheat. and if it ring when i get to three hundred, i won't top; i won't anwer it until i get to five hundred. five, ten, fifteen, twenty, twenty-five, thirty, thirty-five, forty, forty-five, fifty.... oh, pleae ring. pleae.
thi i the lat time i'll look at the clock. i will not look at it again. it' ten minute pat even. he aid he would telephone at five o'clock. "i'll call you at five, darling." i think that' where he aid "darling." i'm almot ure he aid it there. i know he called me "darling" twice, and the other time wa when he aid good-bye. "good-bye, darling." he wa buy, and he can't ay much in the office, but he called me "darling" twice. he couldn't have minded my calling him up. i know you houldn't keep telephoning them ?i know they don't like that. when you do that they know you are thinking about them and wanting them, and that make them hate you. but i hadn't talked to him in three day ?not in three day. and all i did wa ak him how he wa; it wa jut the way anybody might have called him up. he couldn't have minded that. he couldn't have thought i wa bothering him. "no, of coure you're not," he aid. and he aid he'd telephone me.he didn't have to ay that. i didn't ak him to, truly i didn't. i'm ure i didn't. i don't think he would ay he'd telephone me, and then jut never do it. pleae don't let him do that, god. pleae don't.
