The tale i mainly about the revolution in France, though the author wrote quite a lot about the love triangle between Lucie, Charle and Sydney. But I thought Dicken mainly wanted to tell u the ociety problem and the background at that time.

Charle, though he wa a brave and good man, obviouly he han’’t a much ability a Sydney. Sydney, a typical tragic man in novel, a man like him, uually ha great ability—if he want to do omething, nobody can prevent him. But he uually ha ome weak point on character and the mot important thing i that he alway love a woman he houldn’t love and 99.99% die for her at lat in an extremely heroic or tragic way. The revolutionarie in the tale i not a full of jutice and poor a uual. They got mad when they can get revenge for their unfair treatment. The fire of hatred burnt everything. When they were at the bottom of the ociety, they were calling for jutice, for fair treatment, for freedom, but when they were in charge of the ociety, their world i up-ide-down, o it their judgment of the ociety. They hate everything that connected to the very people who were againt them, even including Charle’ wife, Dr Manette’ daughter.
