World Red Cro Day, alo called World Red Cro and Red Crecent Day, i on May 8th, and it i an annual celebration of the International Federation of Red Cro and Red Crecent Societie and all the National Red Cro.
The date i alo the birthday of Henry Dunant, who i the founder of International Committee of the Red Cro (ICRC). The firt world war bring great pain to people, after the war the red cro of Czecholovakia firt initiative to organize the “red cro truce” activitie, it wa held to make the Red Cro humanitarian thought pread over the world, enhance friendhip and cooperation between people, promote world peace and reduce the war.
And thi activity got univeral praie and upport from the International Committee of Red Cro.
Since 1961, the International Federation of Red Cro and Red Crecent ocietie will put forward the World Red Cro Day theme.
Thi year’ theme i “my Red Cro Story”. And according to that theme and the local ituation, the National Red Cro all over the world will organize variou form of activitie to celebrate the day.
