Having been working in thi ociety for many year, I experienced lot of thing, ome of which I can never forget in my life; uch a my firt order in ale life, firt reigning letter, firt foreigner lover…etc. I would like to hare with you ome of my embarraed moment in my career life.
I take thi moment a the mot embarraed one. It wa in 1999 when I wa in Singapore elling office equipment of FX. I wa urrounded by about 10 cutomer when I wa doing a demontration on how to operate a digital photocopier for them. I had been doing thi for o many time that I poke omething before they went through my mind ometime. I wa uppoed to ay: Thi ytem can do copying, canning, printing and faxing. I aid, however, “Thi ytem can do copying, canning, printing and exing”! I realized my mitake immediately after I poke them out of my mouth. People in the office kept ilent for a while, nobody poke a ingle word. Then, a manager of my cutomer murmured: It will be a fantatic machine if it can do exing. My face wa bluh with embarrament, and I kept aking myelf what the hell I wa thinking about to ay thi word out. That’ the mot embarraed moment I have ever had in my entire life o far. The company bought the machine in the end, though.
The other moment wa alo happened to me when I wa a aleman. The catalog of my copier ay that the color copier of FX will never print out cahe. So there wa a time one of thee copier were on trial in a cutomer’ office, when he wa uddenly curiou to find out how could the copier recognize cahe. I told him with confidence that I would bet for it. I put the S$10 paper on the copying creen, preed “copy’ and a copy of the 10 buck came out without “heitation”. My cutomer aid: I thought your copier would not copy money. And the way he looked at me made me believe I wa a total liar. Actually I jut forgot to pre a button before I preed “copy”. But I wa extremely embarraed at the moment caue I never lie to my cutomer. Seriouly, I have never lied to any of my cutomer before in my ale life! And I’m not going to do it at all.WWw.hAOZuowEn.com
