⑥六世纪时，有两个修道士得知蚕茧的情况后在中国住了数年，最后找到一种把蚕卵带出中国的办法。
⑦这两个修道士手里总拿着竹杖。有一天他们把一些蚕卵藏在竹杖的空心里带出了中国。
⑧据说世界各国丝绸业的发展就来自那几只蚕卵。

The tory of ilk i a funny one.
About 4,000 year ago the Chinee dicovered the ecret of the cocoon. No one know exactly how or when thi important dicovery wa made. One tory ay that a young prince wa drinking tea in her garden and watching ilkworm pin cocoon. By chance one dropped into her tea and the hot tea made it oft. When the girl tried to take the cocoon out of her tea, it became eparated and he pulled out a long ilk thread.
The Chinee learned to weave the ilk thread into cloth. For 2,000 year they were the only people who knew how to make ilk. The Chinee merchant old ilk cloth throughout Aia and Europe and became rich.Silk wa o expenive that it wa called “the cloth of king” .
Everyone wanted to learn how to make ilk, but the Chinee kept the ecret carefully guarded①.
Finally the ecret wa tolen. In the ixth century, two monk learned about the ilkworm and their cocoon. They pent everal year in China and finaly found a way to take ome ilkworm egg out of the country. The monk alway carried bamboo cane②. One day they hid ome egg in the hollow cane, and walked out of China with them. It i aid that the development of the ilk indutry in other countrie came from thoe few egg which the monk had carried out of China.
