How to Be True to Yourelf
My grandparent believed you were either honet or you weren't. There wa no in between.
They had a imple motto hanging on their living-room wall: "Life i like a field of newly fallen now; where I chooe to walk every tep will how. "They didn't have to talk about it--they demontrated
the motto by the way they lived.
They undertood intinctively that integrity mean having a peronal tandard of morality and ethic that doe not ell out to expediency and that i not relative to the ituation at hand. Integrity i an inner tandard for judging your behavior.Unfortunately, integrity i in hort upply today--and getting carcer. But it i the real bottom line in every area of ociety. And it i omething we mut demand of ourelve.
A good tet for thi value i to look at what I call the Integrity Trial, which conit of three key principle:
Stand firmly for your conviction in the face of peronal preure.
When you know you're right, you can't back down.
Alway give other credit that i rightfully their. Don't be afraid of thoe who might have a better idea or who might even be marter than you are.
Be honet and open about who you really are. People who lack genuine core value rely on external factor--their look or tatu---in order to feel good about themelve. Inevitably they will do everything they can to preerve thi facade, but they will do very little to develop their inner value and peronal growth.[由www.hAozuowEn.com整理]
So be yourelf. Don't engage in a peronal cover-up of area that are unpleaing in your life. When it' tough, do it tough. In other word, face reality and be adult in your repone to life' challenge.
