The eat in our chool reading-room are not enough for all the tudent. Many people get there very early to ‘eize‘ a eat every day. So do I. One day a ‘pecial‘ thing happened to me. And I learned a leon that I hall never forget.
It happened on a Wedneday morning lat January, jut before our final examation. I got to the reading-room very early to occupy a eat. I put a book on the dek and then went to have breakfat. But when I hurried back into the reading-room, I found omeone wa itting on the eat which I had occupied in advance. I ran to him immediatly and houted at him angrily, ‘Go away. It‘ my eat.‘ Everyone raied their eye and tared at me unfriendly. My face turned red and I felt ahamed of myelf. I took my book and fled helter-kelter before o many eye.
I dared not go to the reading-room for everal day. I learned a leon in the reading-room. Since then I have been keeping the leon in mind: To be polite to everyone.
