One morning before cla, when I wa running into the claroom, I knocked over the ink bottle on the teacher＇ dek, and the red ink pilt on the dek. I wa ure I would be colded by the teacher. Jut at that moment the bell rang and I went to my eat.
“Stand up!” our monitor aid loudly. I tood up and my leg were trembling.
“Who knocked over the ink bottle?” Mi Ye, the teacher, aked. I kept ilent. Many eye were fixed upon me. Mi Ye walked to me and aked in a low voice,“Did you do it?”
“No, no, I didn＇t, ” I aid hurriedly. My face turned red at once. I didn＇t know why I had told a lie.
“OK, I believe you.” She patted me on the head and then began teaching.
I felt very orry. I knew I wa wrong. So I went to ee Mi Ye in the afternoon. “I＇m orry, Mi Ye,” I aid. “Thi morning I told a lie.”
“I aw the whole thing through the window when I wa outide the claroom, ”he aid. “But I didn＇t cold you. I knew you would come to tell me the truth becaue I believe you are an honet girl.”
I dropped my head without aying a word.
“I＇m happy that you have come,” he continued. “You haven＇t made me diappointed.”When I heard thee word, tear filled my eye.Form now on ,i determined to be a honet girl.
