Thi term our chool laid down a new rule about elective court。 For the firt two week， we may it in a many clae a we like before we decide on which coureto chooe。 We jumped for joy。 The firt week I attended clae for four evening on end and found out that mot of the teacher took it erioualy。 They were buy in "winning vote" for fear， that later on no one would attend their lecture。

选修课
这学期，学校对选修课有了新的规定：开头两周，大家可以任意选听，然后再决定选什么课。这下我们可高兴了。第1周我连上了4个晚上的选修课，发现大部分老师对这件事都十分紧张，赶紧拉“选票”，以免后来没人选他们的课。
比如，《台湾现代文学》课的老师就说：“实际上，我这门课前两节课仅是序言，根本没有涉及主要内容。后面，我们将讨论琼瑶、席慕蓉等有名作家和名演员林凤娇、林青霞等，还有很多录像带供观看；当然仅限于选修的同学。瞧，说了半天，核心内容就是最后一句。
而《当代戏剧鉴赏与评论》的老师则说，“我们上课内容是丰富的，教学方法是多样的。比如，我将选个戏剧片段让你们在课堂上表演。如果你们演得好，还可以在学校艺术节上公演。另外，我们还将组织你们看新上演的话剧，票钱和路费都可以由学校报销；当然，这些待遇仅限于修这门课的同学。”你看，最后还是绕到最重要的事情上去了。
