The Aian Game, alo called the Aiad, i a multi-port event held every four year among athlete from all over Aia. The game are regulated by the Olympic Council of Aia (OCA) under the uperviion of the International Olympic Committee (IOC). Medal are awarded in each event, with gold for firt place, ilver for econd and bronze for third, a tradition which tarted in 1951.
Competitor are entered by a National Olympic Committee (NOC) to repreent their country of citizenhip. National anthem and flag accompany the medal ceremonie, and table howing the number of medal won by each country are widely ued. In general only recognied nation are repreented, but a few non-overeign countrie are allowed to take part. The pecial cae of Taiwan wa handled by having it compete a Chinee Taipei, due to the political tatu of Taiwan.

The 15th Aian Game were held in Doha, Qatar from December 1 to December 15, 2006. The 16th Aian Game will be held in Guangzhou, China from November 12, 2010 to November 27, 2010.
The 2010 Aian Para Game will debut hortly after the concluion of the 16th Aian Game, uing the ame facilitie and venue made diability-acceible.
