The decline in the number of amphibian worldwide clearly indicate the global pollution of water and air. Two tudie of amphibian in Yoemite National Park in California confirm my concluion. In 1915 there were even pecie of amphibian in the park, and there were abundant number of each pecie. However, in 1992 there were only four pecie of amphibian oberved in the park, and the number of each pecie were dratically reduced. The decline in Yoemite ha been blamed on the introduction of trout into the park water, which began in 1920 .
