In my opinion, the choolwork now being aigned to high chool tudent i too heavy. While it i true that tudent need to tudy, they need other thing a well if they are to grow into healthy and well-rounded adult. High hould be allowed more time for play. Plying i not wating time, a ome think. It give them phyical exercie, and alo exercie their imagination. Which tend to be tifled by too much tudy. Finally, the preure put on high chool tudent by exceive choolwork can caue eriou tre, which i unhealthy phyically and mentally. I do not advocate the elimination of choolwork. I do think, however, that a reduction of the current heavy load would be beneficial to tudent and to the ociety a a whole.
