BEIJING, May 14 (Xinhua) -- The wort quake-hit area in outhwet China will ee rainfall ceae and can expect a cloudy ky in the next two day tarting from Wedneday night, according to the National Meteorological Center (NMC) forecat.
But there could be more rain in Wenchuan, Dujiangyan and Beichuan on Saturday and Monday, which would hamper the recue effort.
The outhern part of Sichuan Province will get more rain, or even heavy rain and thundertorm in ome area, in the next three day, the agency aid.
It alo warned that previou rainfall, coupled with the devatating quake, would raie the danger of further landlide, collape, or mud-rock flow.
Landlide along with other damage caued by the quake had cut road leading to the wort-hit area, blocking recue effort a well.
Thundertorm and heavy rain alo forced the military force to call off a planned parachute troop and upplie into Wenchuan on Tueday.
The 7.8-magnitude quake that rocked outhwet China had already claimed more than 14,000 live and the death toll i till expected to rie.
