Mot of the job in ociety that are high-paying,powerful,and demand a lot of reponibility are held by men. I do not believe thi ituation aroe becaue women are incapable of doing high-level work. I believe ociety could benefit if more women were in potion of power and therefore I think the government hould reerve a percentage of thee job for female.

2、Why hould government encourage a certain % of high level job for women?

(firt reaon)Firtly, the problem of unfair employment ditribution appear to come from ocial convention and not competence or true ability. At a young age mot girl are not encouraged to purue political office, buine ucce, or profeional pretige . On the other hand, boy are told to do thee thing. A a reult, men hold the high level job but thi doe not mean they are very good at what they do. (econd reaon) Furthermore, regulation in the workplace for hiring women would not be a new thing. Although not written or made into law, there eem to be rule for who can and cannot have high-level job. For intance, if a man and a woman both competed for the preidency of a company or even the country, and both were equally qualified and had the ame experience and background, there i little doubt who would get the job. Even more, if the man wa le qualified and le experienced than the woman, the man would till probably get the job becaue of hi ex. Therefore, to legilate a percentage of high level job for women would work to fight the unwritten exit rule of the workplace.

Other point of view: 3-different argument againt my opinion.

On the other hand, there are many argument againt the ue of a quota ytem for women. It i true that the injutice and dicrimination could be revered. Thi i to ay that ome qualified men might be denied a job while ome unqualified women would be given one. Alo, the problem of exim at work could be worened intead of being overcome. People would doubt whether a women with a high level job wa "truly capable"--men might feel bitterne and reentment, while women might think le of themelve and begin to depend on government "charity". Furthermore, there i the problem of defining what i a high-level job and determining an appropriate percentage. ( Final tatement that upport my opinion again.)→ Nonethele, a quota ytem would break down ome barrier in the hort-term. Sexim in the workplace will not jut magically diappear.

To um up, I have outlined ome advantage and diadvantage of making quota for the number of women in high level job. Depite ome of the obviou problem I believe that men and women can and hould hare power, wealth, and pretige. It i a caue worthy of our effort.
