In my point of view, I reckon that hi thought can be bet undertood following the central point of Tao.
Firt and foremot, the crucial point of Laozi’ view i Tao, whoe concept can be decribed a the general principle of everything in thi univere. Though Tao, in Laozi’ own word, i unnameable, it i believed to be the origin of the univere. Yin and yang, the two baic element in Chinee culture, derive from Tao and become the unity of Tai Chi which eventually produce everything according to the world view of Laozi’ thought.
Furthermore, Tao own everal qualitie and follow certain law that reveal the innate idea of Laozi’ thought. One of the mot prominent character of Tao might be wu wei, which i actually an intentional life tyle with elf-dicipline and certain purpoe intead of it literal meaning of inaction. Few deire, uggeting one hould be content with what they poe already rather than purue the extravagant life, i another quality of Tao and alo a dicipline for Taoit.
