Do Not Give Up
One day John decided to quit...quit hi job, hi relationhip, hi pirituality…
John wanted to quit hi life. He went to the wood to have one lat talk with God,
“God”, John aid, “Can you give me one good reaon not to quit?”
Hi anwer urpried John.
“Look around” aid God “Do you ee the fern and the bamboo?”
“Ye.” John replied.
“When I planted the fern and the bamboo eed, I took good care of them. I gave them light and water. The fern quickly grew. Yet, nothing came from the bamboo eed.
But I did not quit on the bamboo. In the econd year the fern grew more vibrant and plentiful. And again, nothing came from the bamboo eed. But I did not quit on the bamboo.” He aid.
“In year three there wa till nothing from the bamboo eed. But I would not quit. In year four, again there wa nothing from the bamboo eed. I would not quit” He aid.
“Then in the fifth year a tiny prout emerged from the earth. Compared to the fern it wa eemingly mall and inignificant…But jut ix month later the bamboo roe to over on hundred feet tall. It had pent the five year growing root. Thoe root made it h2 and gave it what it needed to urvive. I would not give any of my creation a challenge it could not handle.
