There i an ambivalent feeling toward rural worker. No one denie the important contribution rural worker have made to the urban development. They have done mot of dirty, dangerou and underpaid job in heavy indutrie, contruction ite and other field that city reident are unwilling to enter. They have become an indipenable part of urban life to a point where the machinery of a city connot operate without thoe cog, though mall and unnoticed. Yet an anti-migrant attitude run conitently through the maintream of urban concioune. City reident complain that migrant worker have worened traffic and anitation problem and have threatened to take already carce urban job. They alo blame them for the harp rie in the urban crime rate.
