Some people are in favor of the idea of over-conumption. They point out the fact that China rapid economic development ha materially enriched the live of ordinary Chinee people, and at the ame time increaed our demand a conumer. They alo argue that the riing conumption help drive economic growth.
However, other people tand on a different ground. They conider it harmful to conume more than what their family can afford. They firmly point out that the dogged puruit for more account for our debt, anxiety, wate and overload. An example can back up thi arguement: The American financial crii caued by over conumption made the people of the world wore off.
There i ome truth in both arguement. But I think the diadvantage of over-conumption outweigh the advantage. In addititon to the above-mentioned negative effect, the urging conuming demand threaten to exhaut our reource and poil our environment.
To conclude, our government i advocating idea of conervation-minded ociety and utainable development. Whether due to ene of guilt about wate, or a imple deire to ave money, we need to promote utainable conumption.
