oh god! i think i wa about even and half when my iter and i pulled thi tupid tunt. i remember watching televiion with them and the how on happened to be our favorite program to watch. all of a udden we heard my brother, chri, yelling from the backyard. o we all headed out there to ee what happened. when we finally located him, he wa in a tree hanging from the highet tree branch. crying, he explained to u that he had climbed up the tree and couldn t get down. we thought, okay, one of u hould climb up and get him off, but we couldn t manage to get him moving down.
it wa then my younget iter, ka, who wa five and a half at the time had een a imilar ituation. he uggeted we grab a heet, hold it under the branch chri wa hanging off of, and tell him to drop o we can catch him. my other iter, yam, who i one year younger than me, peered at me to confirm the idea and i aid yeah, let try that .o we grabbed a heet from the cloet and went to hold it beneath the tree. now mind you, the age holding thi blanket were ranging from even and a half to five and a half, thu the heet wa probably being held up to our wait and alo cloe to touching the ground. but we were confident it could work.
