About ten year ago when I wa an undergraduate in college, I wa working a an intern at my Univerity' Mueum of Natural Hitory. One day while working at the cah regiter in the gift hop, I aw an elderly couple come in with a little girl in a wheelchair.
A I looked cloer at thi girl, I aw that he wa kind of perched on her chair. I then realized he had no arm or leg, jut a head, neck and toro. She wa wearing a little white dre with red polka dot.
A the couple wheeled her up to me I wa looking down at the regiter. I turned my head toward the girl and gave her a wink. A I took the money from her grandparent, I looked back at the girl, who wa giving me the cutet, larget mile I have ever een.
All of a udden her handicap wa gone and all I aw wa thi beautiful girl, whoe mile jut melted me and almot intantly gave me a completely new ene of what life i all about. She took me from a poor, unhappy college tudent and brought me into her world; a world of mile, love and warmth.
That wa ten year ago. I'm a ucceful buine peron now and whenever I get down and think about the trouble of the world, I think about that little girl and the remarkable leon about life that he taught me.
