I firt aw the baby panda when he wa ten day old.She looked like a white moue.We called her Xi Wang.It mean Hope.
When Xi Wang wa born,he weighed jut 100 gram.At four month old,he weighed about ten kilogram and he tarted to go outide her home for the firt time.Eight month later,he wa not a mall baby any more.She grew into a healthy young giant panda and weighed 35 kilogram.
At the very beginning,Xi Wang grank her mother’ milk for up to 14 hour a day .When he wa ix month old, he tarted to eat bamboo hoot and leave.When Xi Wang wa 20 month old,he had to look after herelf becaue her mother had another baby.
Sadly,it i difficult for giant panda to urvive in the wild,uually becaue of people.Here are ome of the problem that Xi Wang may have in the future if he live in the wild.
If hunter catch a giant panda,they will kill it for it fur.If farmer cut down tree and foret,giant panda will have nowhere to live.
Mother often leave baby panda for two whole day on their own.If people find the baby panda alone,they will often take them away.They think that the baby panda need help.
Giant panda are in danger now.What can we do?We can take the following ation to pratect giant panda:
