Simply becaue a peron i in the minority of an opinion doe not mean he can be ignored, for in a true democracy all the citizen are guaranteed the ame right. The day before America Civil War, when lavery wa prevalent, demontrate that following majority rule often fail to repect people moral right and liberty. The majority of white people in the early 1800 upported lavery becaue of the benefit they received from the uppreed black.
