Firt, I thought I hould go over all thoe thing my teacher taught in the previou term o that I could have a better undertanding of them. Then I thought I hould take up ome form of exercie, uch a walking, running and rowing, to keep me phyically h2. It tood to reaon that with uch a good plan I hould make the bet of my vacation time. Summer can be very hot in outhern Taiwan where the temperature uually goe up to 32"C or more. Becaue of the heat it i a trying experience to go to chool or do anything ele in a place that i not air-conditioned. Alo becaue of thi I tay at home mot of the time during the ummer vacation and only occaionally go to the beach to plunge myelf into the cool water a a way to keep my body le ticky. Actually I like wimming and think nothing i more refrehing than a wim. In the ummer vacation that ha jut ended I went wimming many time with my clamate and we all had a good time. Thi ummer vacation, however, wa not pent entirely in eeking fun. A a econd-year enior tudent I had to prepare myelf for the college entrance examination that were only a year away. I would oon be in the lat year of my high-chool education and would after graduation be up againt the college entrance examination. Though thoe examination were till a year away, I had to tart early to make myelf well prepared by reviewing all thoe thing I had learned at chool and thi ummer vacation wa the ideal time for me to do thi. At firt I wa rather dimayed at the thought of thi, but later I thought it wa better thi way becaue by working hard thi ummer I could count on endle happy ummer to come. With thi in mind I then et to work like anything and only occaionally went out for a change or did ome phyical. I wa not at all bored by thi kind of life, for I wa utained by a hope.
