pring et in early thi year. ome of my neighbor began to grow flower. there were morning glorie, jamine, cactu, and the like in their flowerpot. i wanted to have a try myelf. but i had neither knowledge nor eperience in uch matter. fortunately, i came acro a book on plant in the library. i read the relevant chapter, which left me with the impreion that any plant would grow luuriantly if you could upply it with ufficient fertilizer and water. of thee two eential factor, fertilizer wa obviouly by far the more important one.
according to what i had learnt from the hook, i owed ome eed of morning glory in a flowerpot with a lot of fertilizer, and watered them everyday. i really took good care of them and eagerly awaited their prouting. but,be that a it may,they jut didn＇t come up. when half a month had elaped,i wa abolutely diappointed. i dug ome of the eed out of the oil and found they had already rotted! why they had rotted defied my analyi. o i went to conult one of my neighbor. he told me my failure wa due to my miundertanding of the hook, and the fact wa that i had overfed themwater or fertilizer may be a two-edged word.
