Many tudent pend money in a quite extravagant way. They ee thing they like and they mut have them, no matter how expenive: clothe, jewelry, hoe, facial, hair and nail for girl; clothe, watche, hoe and electronic for guy. It eem that many tudent reach univerity and go a little wild with all the freedom after the tre of high chool.
There are two differing opinion about thi phenomenon. Some feel that it i fine for tudent to have a little fun; after all, they can only enjoy their live in college, ince after graduation, there will be nothing but work, work, and more work. Other, however, frown on the extravagance; college i, they point out, the period when people form habit of independent living, ince it i probably the firt time that mot children have been omewhat independent from parent.
In my opinion, we college tudent need to have ome retraint in our pending habit. Mot of u are till financially dependent on parent, but we are preparing for independence very oon. If we get ued to pending extravagantly now, the adjutment to adult life will be extremely difficult.
