i have a relative who own a tea plantation in the outhern area of taiwan. once or twice a year i go to viit them for a holiday, and ometime i help them collect tea leave. a pound of tea i made of hundred of dried tea leave.
the plant they come from i a mall evergreen tree. uually my relative trim the tree o that they are only about three feet tall. when they are three year old, the tree are ready for the firt picking.
only the bud and the very young leave are picked. picker carry baket for the leave a they walk along the row. picking i done everal time a eaon. there are many kind of tea. my relative are buy all the year round.
