A Foreign Englih Teacher
Our chool, Shiyan Middle School in Fuling, wa founded only four year ago. It i rather a new chool, but now it i getting well-known for it teahing. We have a foreign Englih teacher, named Han Barthel. He i the only foreign Englih teacher in all the chool in our city.
Han i a tall man with blue eye. He come from Munich①, in Germany. That i to ay, German i hi native language and yet he mater everal foreign language, including Englih. He teache u poken Englih. I till remember the firt time he aked me to anwer a very eay quetion, but I wa too nervou to anwer it, tanding dumbfounded②. He miled, encouraged me and let me it down. From then on, I made up my mind to tudy Englih harder.
One evening I plucked up ③ my courage to viit Han. When I rang the doorbell, he came out and let me in. At firt I wa a bit nervou when talking with him. To make me feel eay he poke very lowly, and I could undertand quite well. I wa o glad that I felt quite at home. Now, I alway go to hi room on Saturday. We talk a lot and watch TV together. Han i learning Chinee all by himelf. He can peak ome Chinee now. He can talk with our Chinee teacher. If he doen＇t know how to ay a certain thing in Chinee, he will ak u to teach him till he can ay it correctly.
