There i a big kating ground near our chool. In winter, I often go kating there, and I enjoy the port very much.
At firt, I only went there to watch other kating. Some with good kill could kate wonderfully. I admired them from the bottom of my heart. But I couldn’t do it myelf. I wa only an onlooker. How I longed to kate myelf!
I began to make up my mind to learn it. But a oon a I tepped on the ice, I tumbled over myelf. At once, ome people caught me, and I turned red over their laughter. I became o diappointed that I decided to give up. When I wa about to leave, a girl came toward me with a mile and aid, "Never mind, try again and you will ucceed." I tried again and again, but till fell again and again. I put up with the wound and pain and tood up and went on trying. At that moment, the girl came up again. She aid loudly to me, "Ok, you are doing very well." Then he igned a "V" to me with her finger. I wa very obliged, and with her encouragement, I made great progre. Soon, I could kate quite well.
While doing anything, we often meet many kind of etback, but we houldn’t loe heart, we hould overcome them with confidence intead of getting away from them. Then we will gain one victory after another.
