[由wwW.HaoZuoWen.com整理]

Love 爱情

The tage i more beholding to love, than the life of man. For a to the tage, love i ever matter of comedie, and now and then of tragedie; but in life it doth much michief; ometime like a iren, ometime like a fury.

You may oberve, that amongt all the great and worthy peron (where of the memory remaineth, either ancient or recent) there i not one, that hath been tranported to the mad degree of love: which how that great pirit, and great buine, do keep out thi weak paion. You mut except, neverthele, Marcu Antoniu, the half partner of the empire of Rome, and Appiu Claudiu, the decemvir and lawgiver; whereof the former wa indeed a voluptuou man, and inordinate; but the latter wa an autere and wie man: and therefore it eem (though rarely) that love can find entrance, not only into an open heart, but alo into a heart well fortified, if watch be not well kept.

It i a poor aying of Epicuru, Sati magnum alter alteri theatrum umu; a if man, made for the contemplation of heaven, and all noble object, hould do nothing but kneel before a little idol, and make himelf a ubject, though not of the mouth (a beat are), yet of the eye; which wa given him for higher purpoe.

It i a trange thing, to note the exce of thi paion, and how it brave the nature, and value of thing, by thi; that the peaking in a perpetual hyperbole, i comely in nothing but in love. Neither i it merely in the phrae; for wherea it hath been well aid, that the arch-flatterer, with whom all the petty flatterer have intelligence, i a man' elf; certainly the lover i more. For there wa never proud man thought o aburdly well of himelf, a the lover doth of the peron loved; and therefore it wa well aid, That it i impoible to love, and to be wie. Neither doth thi weakne appear to other only, and not to the party loved; but to the loved mot of all, except the love be reciproque. For it i a true rule, that love i ever rewarded, either with the reciproque, or with an inward and ecret contempt.

By how much the more, men ought to beware of thi paion, which loeth not only other thing, but itelf! A for the other loe, the poet' relation doth well figure them: that he that preferred Helena, quitted the gift of Juno and Palla. For whooever eteemeth too much of amorou affection, quitteth both riche and widom.

Thi paion hath hi flood, in very time of weakne; which are great properity, and great adverity; though thi latter hath been le oberved: both which time kindle love, and make it more fervent, and therefore how it to be the child of folly. They do bet, who if they cannot but admit love, yet make it keep quarter; and ever it wholly from their eriou affair, and action, of life; for if it check once with buine, it troubleth men' fortune, and make men, that they can no way be true to their own end.

I know not how, but martial men are given to love. I think, it i but a they are given to wine; for peril commonly ak to be paid in pleaure.

There i in man' nature, a ecret inclination and motion, toward love of other, which if it be not pent upon ome one or a few, doth naturally pread itelf toward many, and make men become humane and charitable; a it i een ometime in friar.

I helped my mother with omething

January 28 2015 it wa the third day of our winter holiday. today, there are many buine in my mother‘ company. o my mother told me to help my uncle who i the manager of my mother’ company. i at in my mother‘ office and help her anwer the telephone. while i wa free, i wa writing my homework. although i alo have a lot of time to do my homework, i till do it. becaue in my mother’ office, i had nothing to do. if i did nothing, i wa wating my time and my life. i can‘t do the foolih thing. we hould take good ue of our time.

nuptial love maketh mankind; friendly love perfecteth it; but wanton love corrupteth, and embaeth it.
