Currently the ranking of college i very prevalent in China, fueled by parent who are eager to look for guidance and univeritie which pend lavihly to raie their tanding.
But there ha been much debate about the value of uch ranking. Some expert peak highly of the ranking, noting that.the league table are ueful to college-bound tudent and their parent. The view i echoed by a 2009 tudy, which conclude that the ranking pur univeritie to do a better job of educating tudent. Other, however, cannot hare thi point of view. They dimi the ranking a pointle, bluntly pointing out the dubiou tatitic ued in the ranking. They think the very idea ridiculou that univeritie with very different culture and program can be compared.
A for me, I ide with the former view. Though it i incredibly difficult to judge how well a univerity perform, it doe not necearily mean the panorama of a univerity i unavailable.
