If I were a boy again, I would practice pereverance more often, and never give up a thing becaue it wa or inconvenient. If we want light, we mut conquer darkne. Pereverance can ometime equal geniu in it reult. “There are only two creature,” ay a proverb, “who can urmount the pyramid—the eagle and the nail.”
If I were a boy again, I would chool myelf into a habit of attention; I would let nothing come between me and the ubject in hand. I would remember that a good kater never trie to kate in two direction at once.
The habit of attention become part of our life, if we begin early enough. I often hear grown up people ay “ I could not fix my attention on the ermon or book, although I wihed to do o” , and the reaon i, the habit wa not formed in youth.
If I were to live my life over again, I would pay more attention to the cultivation of the memory. I would trengthen that faculty by every poible mean, and on every poible occaion. It take a little hard work at firt to remember thing accurately; but memory oon help itelf, and give very little trouble. It only need early cultivation to become a power.
WWw.hAOZuowEn.com
