Lat week our clahad a heated dicuion on Earth Hour.Different tudent have different opinion about thi activity.
About 60% of the tudent are in favor of it. A we all know ,global warming i a big problem in the world. Earth Hour can raie people’ awareneof global warming. Beide, turning off light for an hour i energy-aving. Only by working together can we make our earth a better place to live in.
However , about 40% of the tudent ay thi activity i not very meaningful. They think it i only a how and that it doen’t make much difference. What’ more, turning off light for an hour may caue inconvenience to people’ life, work and tudy.
In my opinion, thi activity i of great importance. But one activity alone i not enough if we want to ave energy and protect our earth. Let’ act through our day-to-day habit.

Should Yuanmingyuan Be Rebuilt?
Yuanmingyuan, “Garden of all garden”, wa burnt and fell into ruin in 1860. Recently my clamate had a dicuion about whether it hould be rebuilt or not.
Supporter of rebuilding the garden ay only by doing o can we ee the original ight of the garden, which reflect the Chinee civilization(文明). And it will be another place of interet for tourit. If partly rebuilt, it will provide a comparion and help u remember the hitory.[由wWw.HaozuoWen.com整理]
Thoe who diagree think it more reaonable(合情合理) to keep the garden like thi. The ruin will remind u of the pat. We hould never forget the hitory. Other building like Palace Mueum and Summer Palace can alo be ymbol of the Chinee culture, o it in’t neceary to rebuild thi garden. Some alo worry that the environment will be detroyed when the contruction goe on in thi ditrict.
Peronally, it i adviable to rebuild Yuanmingyuan , which will add beauty to the city . What’ more , the new cenic pot will no doubt promote the economic development of the local.
