He wa in the firt third grade cla I taught at Saint Mary’ School in Morri, Minn. All 34 of my tudent were dear to me, but Mark Eklund wa one in a million. Very neat in appearance, he had that happy-to-be-alive attitude that made even hi occaional michievoune delightful.

Then I told them to think of the nicet thing they could ay about each of their clamate and write it down. It took the remainder of the cla period to finih the aignment, and a the tudent left the room, each one handed me the paper.

"A you can ee, Mark behaved better and better at chool. It’ all becaue of you and your lit."
