既然如此，为什么当人们看见水龙头的自来水“哗啦哗啦”地流的时候，就不会上前把水龙头关上？为什么人们总是要把工业废料统统都要排污到原来那干净的河流里？为什么大家不可以不浪费水，不会去珍惜每一滴水呢？在生活中我们经常看到有同学浪费水，。下课，同学们去洗手间洗手，走的时候太匆忙，忘了关水龙头；课间，同学们用手接水，去泼别人，在这期间，泼去的水浪费了，泼水时候水龙头没关，也浪费了；还有的时候，水杯里的水没喝完，就倒掉了……
或许有的人会说：“不就是浪费那一两滴嘛！怕什么？”是的，一两滴而已。但是大家想想，如果人人都保持这样的心态，人人都浪费一两滴水，世界会变成什么样？积少成多，假如你今天浪费一滴，明天浪费一滴，后天够浪费一滴……只要一年，你就已经可以浪费一桶水了！
节约用水，其实并不费我们多少力气、多少时间，也并不需要我们花费什么。洗完手随手关一下水龙头；洗完脸的水留下来冲厕所；洗米的水用来浇花；经过河边，手上的垃圾不要扔进河中……这一些细小的动作，就已经能节约水了。
“不以善小而不为，不也恶小而为之。”小小的错误，能给世界带来如此大的危害，小小的行动，也就能给世界带来节约！如果我们不珍惜水资源，如果我们不加强保护水资源的意识的话，那么，世界上的最后一滴水，就是我们的眼泪！
