清明节 The Tomb Sweeping Day
The tomb weeping day i one of the traditional fetival in China. On April 5th, people tart to viit their ancetor’ tomb. Generally peaking, people will bring the home-made food, ome fake money and paper-made manion to their ancetor. When they tart to honour their ancetor, they will light up ome candle and incene, put ome flower around the tomb. The mot important thing i to put the home-made food in front of the tomb. The food, alo known a acrifice, i uually made up with a chicken, a fih and ome pork. It’ a ymbol of the offpring’ repect to the ancetor. People believe that the forbear will hare the food with them. The children dedicate the food and money to their forbear in order to how their love and caring. The young offpring will go down on their knee and pray for their ancetor. They can ay their wihe in front of the tomb and the ancetor will make their dream come true.In ome province of China, people ue different activitie to commemorate thi day, for intance, pring-outing, winging, tree planting and making pecial food. One pecial food i Ay Tao rice ball. It look like Tang-yuan, but it colour i green. Mix the Ay Taojuice with the rice powder, then make it into mall ball. The Ay Tao rice ball i done. People believe that eating Ay Tao rice ball can get rid of the bad luck and everything will go moothly. Other activitie uch a pring outing, tree planting are the other way to commemorate the forbear.
